Tea discusses...Dan Wilton Photography

Having a love for interesting style in fashion and accessory's always excites me, however I'm a LOVER for all art ! As a artist myself  Photographer Dan Wilton captures my immediate attention, and of course... I'm going to tell you why :-)

Dan Wilton photography reminds me of  the bitter sweet days, a mixture between uncertainly and lively moments. Emotions and creative concepts from everyday people such as his portraits  'young fathers' and  'fuck off i love you.'
 Its apparent to me that the artist indulges in different types of styles he uses to display to his audience.
Whether personal high fashion or portraits I believe his strenght lies within how he makes each image exciting but indifferent to the last.
It can be agreed that the environment has the aura of streetyle style ranging through bustops, highstreet and park shots and all tells detail about British culture. The honesty and edge of his work is brilliant with my favourites  'Are you experienced?' and 'blood sweat tears'
   Dan Wilton executes his work modestly until you are confronted with his fashion images that he challenges you with soft lighting on a bright day or a dark stairway full of intensity and imagination, in addition with the way in which the camera angles are shot.
With photography being able to take risks is important but also delivering these risk and creative surprises allows images to become very much alive and kicking and that's pretty much what Dan Wilton work certainly does!

TEAs... top ten10 AMY WINEHOUSE never forgotten. x

Im so very much affected by the news of Amy Winehouse as I was a massive fan, RIP sweetheart...
North Londons talent gone but so not forgotten September born London born Camden born.
WE Loved you Amy.

So im going to give you my favorite top ten 10 best memeories and photographs taken of her in public by the press, before she sadly left us (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011)


1. Amy didnt speak as much in public but when she did, the photographs captured nothing but herself.

 2. I adore the FACT everyone who is a female and happens to be a virgo tends to wears yellow confident Amy Winehouse projected her boldness in a canery yellow dress at the Brit award London 2007. She looked amazing.

3. Tight camera shots of Ms Winehouse when performing always make me feel in tune with myself  knowing who you are, its okay to have doubts, and empowerment her lyrics and her projection feels like shes telling me everything will work out. In her trademark beautiful distinct croaked, soulful tone.

4. Yes never hiding from the public when it came to court cases, night out walking off edge in Camden or off to rehab, Amy heads out with that beehive im still fasinated by. Even in windy conditions her hair style and overall attire stays very much modern but classic. And of course keeping it real.

Of course again the outstanding album 'Back to Black'

I heard 'rehab' when I was in the states 2007 and having seen who she was I said stright away "this girl is ODD looking"

but her music was intense and REAL. I loved her ever since, shes helped me stay grounded in my life and confirms who I am in todays world,  regardless of her type of decisions she was making and still was, I respected her as a person and musically.

6. I remember seeing this in various newspapers and thought Amys bloody cool!

7.   Laied back, painful, defeatless, lost in thoughts, or couldnt give a s*** attitude or maybe a mixture of them all, this photo shows me amy had alot going for her.

8.  Rehab shot on the bed Amy Winehouse looks hot with her tousled hair and frosted pink lips, its always good to see her at her BEST. With the exception of a smudged eyes or crazy hair she made it work for her because he lyrics displayed just THAT!

tea stopps... Wicked haircut !

Shuffiling home on a Friday, and I turn back to see a pretty... cool hairstyle! I was enthusiastic to see the black and blonde work well also in a short cut.
A diffrent concept other than long hair.

I myself like colour in hairstyles and they always vamp up a simple cut. Blonde, warm hazel, stable blonde, jet black, carmel, burgundy are just a few that are fun and dynamic.



Tear out of a magazine look at you fav idol get inspiration from your nan or mother for that old school hairstyle you adore !

Remember the skin tone and shape of your face is key to a good hairstyle that suits you. Get advice from people that know you or if in doubt head to a professional salon who are more than ready to create wonders!

Tea stops... 3 summer wedges !

The shoe world never ends... as it's the final piece to a challenging puzzle that results as excellent !

3 different girls passed my paths in East London need to say why...

Platform wedges are IT this summer and each girls attire and SHOES has drawn in the oo's ahh's and yes!
 Pastel colours, twisted straps, contrasted bobb socks, neutral manicures toes are some the varied ideas you can have to create your style, a mix match of sweet vintage, highstreet cool, or designer sharp.

Wear wedges with short shorts, culottes , three quarters otherwise the girls have already jumped my thoughts as they wear floaty dresses or jumpsuit.
The jumpsuit comes in many materials, charcoal denim, white, or tribal prints however classic denim is fault-less.

Sales are happening in many stores and online as the summer slowly closes, however fear not if time doesn't allow you to showcase your new wedges, place them down with love for next year.

As revived pair of shoes everyone adores on you, is good for the soul !

tea stopped.. Samson Soboye and Joan Campbell

Flying along to view 'Without Sanctuary' at Rivington Place gallery (Shorditch) I needed to  intervene on a conversation with two good freinds.

Joan's quirky wrapped updo head scarf attracted me and set of the on trend out of her black single breasted blazer and eye catching platform red boots.

The text cotton tee allows the variation of the patterns in the head scarf to come together, with the horizontal lines. The outfit cannot be lost as the choice of a brown handbag softly breaks up the edge of the black pieces.
BOLD Red platform boots also captures the intensity of the outfit overall, Purple and Blue anything and many more lively block colours can also have the same effect.

Confident shoes can brings causal wear to another level !

tea Stops... In shorditch

Okay so the Tracy Emins exhibtion got scratch off my list tovisit today, as Shorditch area was calling me instead. Great for that as I had to double take a young lady as I left the station  I fell
  inLove with her STYLE  !

Angela Scanlon stood before me in a Zara zip up jacket captured underneath with a olive long sleeved shirt double breasted pockets leather panneled leggings, with black boots.

I know British weather isnt at its best as we are meant to be in summer of heat and fun however this outfit has no limitations as to what season it should be worn in.
The contrast of materials between the leather leggings and handbag can comfort us in the winter feelings of style however the assertivness of the bold wayfarer shaped sunglasses and the punchy peppled black and white jacket comes to life making sure summer isnt missed regardless if the sun comes or not !

You can dresses up or down this outfit and the idea is long garments forms the impact such as shirts blouses jumper dresses ect... with simple details choosing between V, sqaure , scooped , collered neck it allows you to creativley add to the finshing look. So think pockets, acute buttons, bows, thin zips , drapping on the top. Also the option to tuck in or out?!

 Angela has her stunning hair tossled down, nothing stops a wicked updo hair style or a crazy ring or maybe swap the shirt for a deep purple, put a exlamation mark where you feel is best.

Style should have no limitations find and embarace what you like,

-ASOS, Local highstreet markets, Next, Topshop, Vintage stores will do a variety of tops and blouses, accessorys and handbags. However if yo have money to splash hit Selfridges or (my fav shop)> Jaeger or Micheal Kors to find that extra stylish contemporary handbag.

Tea's... SUMMER HAVE TOO'S!

July is here and the weathers looking up in the UK!
While everyone maybe looking great with stunning hairdos accessories and latest purchases, we need to think about or health and what happens inside our bodies for the summer.

So I'm going to shake up a few important essentials with the following reminders (females as well as males!)

• DRINK DRINK DRINK and I mean... water people, we need to hydrate ourselves helping to provide glowing skin and healthy hair and releases unwanted salts and sugary foods from our systems  that we eat in the hot season. Plus we want to deter from the horrid and embarrassing smells that erupt our noses in a supermarket or crowed lift.

• Moisturizer > Some need it more than others but summer is crucial as sunburn happens and again the our skin in thirsty and needs that little more of bit TLC you should do. Elbows face legs goes a long way females may have cracking of the heels in those pumps heels or cute sandels.

• Make up does NOT need a lot of application in the summer otherwise the pores and face overall feels heavy and makeup appears clammy so good make up wipes and making sure you take off your makeup is a must! Tie hair up when doing makeup or make a quiff or slick pony tail. Wearing hair off you face is better for summer.
